Your words are yours.What you write in Align-ment is stored so you can return to it. The AI inside the app reads your words to respond to you — that’s how the practice works.
What we don’t do: we do not sell your data, we do not show you ads, we do not share what you write with parents or schools or anyone else by default.
What you choose to share with a trusted adult in your circle is visible only to the person you chose, only for the entry you picked, and only until you un-share it.
Safety signals— if you write something that looks like you’re in danger (thoughts of self-harm, abuse disclosure, severe distress), a human reviewer may see what you wrote in order to check in with you. This is the only case where someone at Align-ment reads what you write, and it exists so that you’re not alone in hard moments.
